# Boosting Terms

These are the terms for buying a boost on dex-tokens.io. Boosts are already covered by the [Terms & Conditions](/terms-conditions), mainly section 2.1. This page gathers those rules in one place. Where the two differ, the Terms & Conditions decide.

## Who can buy a boost, and for which token?

Any signed-in member can boost a token whose promoted listing is live. You do not need to own the listing. A token without a live listing cannot be boosted.

## What does a boost cost, and how long does it last?

A boost is one payment for one pack. The time starts when the payment confirms on Solana. Packs that are active at the same time add up. Prices can change; the price you pay is the one shown before you sign.

## What does a boost buy?

Visibility on dex-tokens.io only: a ⚡ badge, a higher place on the promoted page, and a place in the ⚡ Boosted tab in search. A boost has no effect on price, volume, Hot, Trending or any other board, and it is not an endorsement.

## How is a boost paid?

The same way as a listing, set out in section 3 of the [Terms & Conditions](/terms-conditions): a direct transfer of SOL on Solana, from your own wallet to the address shown to you, built by our server and signed by you. We never hold your keys and never sign for you.

## When is a boost refunded?

Boosts are not refundable. If your payment arrives after the token's listing is removed, the boost cannot show, and you are refunded by hand. A boost stops showing if the listing is removed while it is active, and that is not refunded. To claim a refund that is owed, see the [Refund Policy](/refund-policy).

## Can a boost be removed?

A boost shows only while the token's listing is live. A listing can be removed at any time under section 5 of the [Terms & Conditions](/terms-conditions), and its boosts stop with it.
