# Boosting

A boost is a paid pack that moves a promoted token up the promoted page for 12 or 24 hours. It also adds a ⚡ badge and a place in the Boosted tab of search. A boost is advertising. It does not verify a token, and it does not change any other board.

## What does a boost cost?

These are today's prices. Prices can change. The price you pay is the one shown in the boost window before you sign, and the time starts when your payment confirms.

## Which tokens can be boosted?

Only a token whose [promoted listing](/promoted-tokens) is live. Any signed-in member can boost it — you do not have to own the listing.

## Do packs add up?

Yes. Packs that are active at the same time add together. The promoted page orders its **Today** tab by active boost units first, then by today's votes.

## What does a boost not do?

- It does not change Trending, Hot, New, Gainers, Bonding or Migrated. Those boards never read boosts.
- It does not change a token's price, volume or any figure we measure.
- It is not an endorsement, and it says nothing about whether a token can be trusted.

## How do I pay for a boost?

1. Sign in, and connect the wallet you will pay from.
2. Press **⚡ Boost** on the token page or on the token's row on the promoted page, and choose a pack.
3. Our server builds a SOL transfer to the dex-tokens.io treasury. Check the amount, then sign it in your wallet.
4. Once the payment confirms on Solana, the boost starts.

We never hold your keys and never sign for you.

## Can I get a refund on a boost?

Boosts are not refundable. One exception: if your payment arrives after the token's listing was removed, the boost cannot show, and you are refunded by hand. A boost that stops because the listing is removed while it is active is not refunded. See the [Refund Policy](/refund-policy) and [Terms & Conditions](/terms-conditions) section 2.1.
