# FAQ

Short answers to the questions we are asked most. Each one links to the page with the detail. If your question is not here, email [support@dex-tokens.io](mailto:support@dex-tokens.io).

## Is dex-tokens.io free?

Yes, to read. You need no account to browse the boards or open a token page. Trades made through the trade panel carry a fee of up to 1%, shown before you sign. Promoted listings and boosts are paid and optional.

## Where does the data come from?

From our own collector, which reads public sources: GeckoTerminal, Jupiter, PumpPortal, the Solana network and DexScreener. See the [Introduction](/introduction).

## Why does a figure show a dash (—)?

Because we have not measured it. We show a dash instead of a guess. A dash never means zero.

## How do I get my token listed?

You do not need to do anything. A token appears once our collector picks it up. A paid promoted listing is optional. See [Token Listings](/token-listings).

## What does a promoted listing cost?

0.15 SOL, paid once. It places the token on the promoted page until it is removed. There is no renewal. See [Promoted Tokens](/promoted-tokens).

## What does a boost do?

A boost moves a promoted token up the promoted page, adds a ⚡ badge and puts it in the Boosted search tab for 12 or 24 hours. It does not change any other board. See [Boosting](/boosting).

## Does a listing or a boost mean you checked the token?

No. Both are paid placement. We do not audit tokens, and audit or KYC links on a listing are supplied by the person who paid. They are not verified.

## Does Dex-Tokens have a token?

No. Dex-Tokens has no token, no coin and no airdrop. Anyone offering one in our name is not us.

## Will Dex-Tokens contact me first?

No. We never send the first message, on any platform. If someone says they are from Dex-Tokens and contacts you first, it is not us. Reach us at [support@dex-tokens.io](mailto:support@dex-tokens.io).

## Do you hold my funds?

No. We never hold your keys or your money. Every payment and every trade is signed in your own wallet.

## Is there an API?

Not yet. It is planned, with no date. See [API](/api).
