How dex-tokens.io works out realised profit and loss on trades made here, what the profile chart shows, and how the leaderboard ranks traders.
PNL on dex-tokens.io is realised profit and loss: what you made or lost on tokens you bought here and then sold here. It is counted in SOL, and the leaderboard ranks public profiles by it.
What counts as a closed trade?
A trade is closed when you sell tokens that you bought on dex-tokens.io. The result is what the sale brought in, less what those tokens cost you, using your average cost for that token.
Selling tokens you bought somewhere else is not counted, because we do not know what you paid. If you sell more than you bought here, only the part bought here is counted. Network fees are not included.
Are tokens I still hold included?
No. A token you have bought and not sold has no realised result. Your open positions, with an estimate of their value now, are on your own Profile page under Positions. Only you can see them.
What does the chart on a profile show?
The chart is realised profit and loss added up over time, for 7 days, 30 days or all time. It moves only when a trade closes and stays level in between. It is not the value of anyone's wallet. Point at the line to see the running total at a closed trade.
The chart can be shown in SOL or in dollars. Dollars are offered only when we recorded a dollar price for every trade in the period, so a dollar line never leaves a trade out.
What are win rate, hold time and By token?
- Win rate is the share of closed trades that made a profit.
- Average hold is the time from opening a holding of a token to each sale of it.
- By token adds up the closed trades of each token, losses included.
How does the leaderboard rank traders?
By realised profit and loss in SOL, highest first, for the last 7 days, 30 days or all time. A trader is ranked when they have a public profile and at least 3 closed trades in the period. A trader with a loss is ranked like anyone else.
Is a high rank a recommendation?
No. The figures cover only trades made on dex-tokens.io, so they are not a full picture of anyone's trading. Past results say nothing about future ones. Nothing here is financial advice.
