Trending
How the Trending board on dex-tokens.io ranks Solana tokens, how the other boards differ, and what no board takes into account.
Trending is the home page of dex-tokens.io. It lists Solana tokens that have recently appeared in the trending and new-pool feeds our collector reads, ordered by liquidity, highest first. A token that has had a promoted listing is shown on the promoted page while the listing is live, and is not shown on Trending afterwards either.
How do the other boards rank tokens?
| Board | Address | What it ranks |
|---|---|---|
| Trending | dex-tokens.io | Tokens from the trending and new-pool feeds, by liquidity |
| Hot | /hot | The most distinct traders in the last hour |
| New | /new | Newest first, by when the token earned its place |
| Gainers | /gainers | The biggest 24-hour price gains, among tokens with over $10k liquidity |
| Bonding | /bonding | Tokens on a bonding curve: newly created, almost bonded and just graduated |
| Migrated | /migrated | Tokens that just finished their bonding curve and moved to a DEX, newest first |
| Promoted | /promoted | Paid listings only — see Promoted Tokens |
Can a payment move a token up Trending?
No. No payment moves a token up any board. Boosts and votes are never read by Trending, Hot, New, Gainers, Bonding or Migrated; they order only the promoted page and the Boosted search tab.
A promoted listing does change one thing: a token that has had one is kept off Trending. While the listing is live it is shown on the promoted page; once the listing is removed it does not return to Trending. On Hot, New, Gainers, Bonding and Migrated it stays wherever its own figures put it.
What does a board not take into account?
A board ranks one measured figure. It does not judge whether a token is a good buy, whether its team is honest or whether its liquidity will stay. Open the token page and read the security block before you decide anything.
Figures we have not measured show as a dash (—). A token with a dash in the ranked figure sorts to the end of the board rather than being given a number.
How often does a board change?
The boards are built from the latest data our collector has stored, so they change as new data arrives. Data can be late or missing when a source is slow or down.
Can I filter a board?
Yes. Trending, Hot, New, Gainers and Migrated have a filter bar, including the time window for price changes. The search box finds any token by name, ticker or contract address. On those boards, page 2 and later keep the order they had when you opened page 1, so a token is not shown twice or skipped while you page through.
